More about giving to THS

In conjunction with The Children’s Institute, the Fall Fundraiser is a Wine-Tasting Auction held at the Helena May. The evening is organized by a host of dedicated parent volunteers and staff, and never fails to be an enjoyable and beautiful evening. Click here to learn more about last year’s event.

Spring Fundraiser

The Spring Fundraiser this year promises to be a very fun event! give you details yet, but one hint is that it involves a world-class chef!

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is run by parents, and is one way of managing the acquisition of needed materials for all classes. (Tuition alone simply will not pay for these things.) In addition, the Annual Fund helps provide financial aid for some students who cannot afford full tuition or needed additional services. We would like to achieve a goal of 100% participation in the Annual Fund, including all parents, staff and students. Even small contributions are important. (Students may contribute a portion of their pocket money, for example.) We allocate 40% of the Annual Fund to financial aid, and the rest is directly spent in purchase of school materials. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution, no matter what the size.

Bookathon

The Bookathon is run by the students during the month of March, and funds are spent directly on the acquisition of books for classrooms or the school library. Students collect pledges in the form of direct pledges or promises of a certain amount per book read by the student. (Caution is urged – some of our students read a lot!) During the month of April, a committee including students and teachers makes the purchasing decisions.
