Giving to THS
At The Harbour School, we greatly appreciate the generosity of friends and supporters who help to sustain us. Many of these people have had children who did not achieve their potential in typical educational institutions or children who would have benefited from a small-class environment. Others – now very successful adults - have stories of their own struggles in school and the hardships they faced as they attempted to overcome boredom, attentional or learning differences, shyness or fragility. Others simply understand the importance of providing an educational alternative that builds on individual strengths and allows children to learn in their own way and at their own pace in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
